In December 2005, Dr. Tinari completed a comprehensive analysis of damages to consumers in a major class action case.

Household Services Research
A short article entitled "A Note on 'Household Services: Toward a More Comprehensive Measurement," authored by Dr. Tinari was published in the
Journal of Forensic Economics, 17(3), Fall 2004 (published December 2005), pp. 383-385. This article is an extension and elaboration of an earlier piece published in the
JFE on household services measurement.

Brain Damage Case
Dr. Tinari offered damages testimony on December 8, 2005, in the Valentini v. Ford Motor trial, in Newark, NJ. This was a product liability suit by a woman who suffered brain damage in a rollover crash. On December 23rd, a federal jury returned a $20.5 million verdict.

Bear Hunt Statistics
On behalf of several litigants attempting to stop or delay a scheduled bear
hunt in November 2005, Dr. Tinari was asked to undertake an analysis of available statistics of the bear population in New Jersey.
